We are building a team to support a reputable Saudi Business Solutions provider.
We are currently looking for a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team and contribute to our Saudi
client success. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and keeping scalable
data projects. This individual will collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure data integrity and
optimize performance, supporting our business intelligence and analytics needs.
Responsibilities:
● Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures.
● Collect, process, and analyze large datasets from various sources to support business
intelligence and analytics.
● Implement data integration solutions to ensure seamless data flow between systems and
databases.
● Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data needs and
deliver high-quality data solutions.
● Ensure data quality and integrity by performing regular data cleansing and validation.
● Optimize and tune database performance to manage large volumes of data efficiently.
● Develop and enforce data security and privacy policies to protect sensitive information.
● Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, addressing any issues or bottlenecks that arise.
● Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of data processes, pipelines, and
architectures.
● Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices in data engineering.
Requirements:
● Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar degree.
● Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
● Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
● Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
● Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
● Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
● Experience with data warehousing solutions.
● Familiarity with ETL tools and processes.
● Knowledge of data modeling, data architecture, and data governance principles.
● Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail.
● Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and Arabic
Preferable Certificates:
● Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate
● Cloudera Certified Professional (CCP): Data Engineer
● Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)
